While people have a a keen interest in making their built environment & technology accessible and usable for persons with disabilities, the reality is that they often do not know how or where to start. Join us on Wednesday, May 15 2019 and mark the eighth Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about accessibility and people with different disabilities. The target audience of GAAD is the design, development, usability, and related communities who build, shape, fund and influence our world, both in physical and in digital space. This year, we will be going back basics and provide the audience to understand accessibility.
